Quality Life Enablement

I am an occupational therapist who is passionate about supporting people to live a good quality of life. I advocate that an individual’s quality of life is improved when they are able to do activities that are important to them.

Quality Life Occupational Therapy 65+ is:

A home-based occupational therapy service whose goal is to enable individuals aged 65+ to continue living a good quality of life, through promoting independence, safety and confidence. We do this through offering:

  • home assessments
  • functional assessments
  • rehabilitation tailored to a person's individual goals.

Prior to establishing Quality Life Enablement, I worked in the NHS and worked across a range of settings including the acute hospital wards, inpatient rehabilitation and community rehabilitation. I specialised in Stroke Rehabilitation and spent time working both in a stroke inpatient rehab unit and in the Community Stroke Service, completing rehabilitation in individuals own homes.
